Wesak Holiday

Yesterday was Wesak holiday. Hooray!! I don't have to visit lab. After Chelsea replacement tuition class, I am FREE!! I don't like to sit at home I want my holiday to be occupied. I've sent out SMSes...too bad, those peoples...are not as FREE as me. :(

Finally, Sam called me up after an hour and I was "invited" for a movie. Was drizzling outside, so we decide to have our lunch in Tropicana City Mall (which is just next to my condo and there is sheltered pedestrian walkway to Tropicana City Mall). The people crowd in Tropicana City Mall was 10x more than usual.

After a long consideration, we decide to have our late lunch+tea inPho Hoa.
Vietnamese restaurant will always be my last option. Cause I've tasted their spring roll and it doesn't suit my taste bud.

Imagine..a piece of rice paper wrap with few cold boiled shrimp, vermicelli, and some peppermint. .......Yucks...

I personally don't like it.

Let's back to topic.

Pho Hoa is a Vietnamese restaurant BUT.... not originated from Vietnam. It's from America (found it on some other people's blog).

This time, I tried their grill chicken and fried spring roll. I was amazed by the fried spring roll. It doesn't taste as raw as the fresh one. It taste good. And the grill chicken is just nice, tender and soft with some chewy sensation. Most important!!! it's not oily. I've completely changed my impression towards Vietnamese food.

Overall, the ambiance there is cozy. Definitely is a nice place for chit chating. Food there are all health conscious, and it taste good.

After filling our stomach, we proceed to GSC. We decide to watch "Priest". Sam claimed that is a Thriller. But it wasn't so thrilling. LOL.

It was 2 hours apart from hour showing time, we made our mind up to kill our time in Starbucks. Starbucks was pack with peoples with their laptop, iphone, ipad and whatever portable online device you can name of. Finally, we got a seat and I started playing Angry Bird while taking sips of my frappuccino. Hee~~~

Priest is based on the Korean comic of the same name. The movie is about the war between humans and vampires has devastated the world.Hicks, a sheriff told a priest that his brother and sister-in-law (his ex girlfriend) were killed by vampires and his niece (suppose to be his daughter) was kidnapped. The priest abides his sacred vows to venture out on an obessive quest to find Lucy before she turn into one of the vampire........If you are interested, watch the show yourself. ^^
